Berlin in May in 1945 saw fierce fighting, it was certainly not the final battle of the World War II but it did bring VE day just that little bit closer.
70 Years after the battle, photographer Fabrizio Bensch went back to those iconic sites and took modern day images.

I don't understand why the before pictures were all taken in the winter, and all after photos were taken in summer.
I agree. Its easy enough to tell the before are all winter shots...and most of the afters are either summer or late fall.
